A walk in the park

After what seems like weeks of drought we now have some gentle rain falling .... just what the garden needs before I plant my geraniums.

The morning, however, was dry and fairly warm.  After playing badminton and walking the dogs I decided to tidy and clean  out the car before it goes for service on Monday.

This lovely apple blossom was growing against the wall in the veg garden in Pollok Park.  The extra is a cute wee Highland calf who was just happy to lie in the field.  At first I thought it was just a pile of sand until he lifted his wee head and stuck his tongue out!
