Sleepy Hollow

It's a rare fact that so many of life's treasures are actually right next to the environments within which we live and work. It could be a green track, a babbling brook, a pleasant park, a tree lined avenue.

These old dykes in this shot lie close to my parents house and more often than not they are nigh on deserted. A few thousand people live nearby and many of them will never have visited this beautiful river; its dazzling catch of the light that surrounds it, it's careful handling of the fish that swim in its crystal clear waters.
