Morris dancing outside the town hall this evening, next to the Guildhall (which is in the town hall). At the same time, there was a deanery meeting in the Guildhall, an opportunity for members of local congregations to meet the new Bishop of Newcastle. A meeting that was possibly punctuated by Morris music and the clashing of sticks...
