The Stoneymollan

The sun doesn't always shine in Scotland...... some of you I am sure are aware of this........

Walking today with the girls, and we took the train to Balloch and had a wee break for coffee before climbing up to the Stoneymollan ...... beautiful views from the top looking towards Loch Lomond and the Ben.  Then down the other side towards the River Clyde at Cardross (my picture is taken on that path).  We did 6.5 lovely miles, and enjoyed every bit. 

We were actually quite lucky with the weather, as I gather that many places had very heavy rain.  We had dribbles at times, and it was dull, but it was fine for us.

Caught the train at Cardross back to Queen Street in Glasgow and then bus home.

It was a great day out, and the company is super!
