Beauty Sleep

It's exhausting being a dachshund around here!  This morning, my new mom took the toy basket outside, and set up camp for a day of sunshine and outdoor house training activity.  There was so much to bark at!  The huge brown dog on the other side of the fence that my people call a "horse",  the man called "Bill" who was working in the field, the other man who came to clean the swimming pool, and finally the painter who arrived to power wash the house!  After a lot of running around and speaking my mind, I got tired and hot, so I upended the toy basket and crawled inside for some shade, a snuggle with piggie, and a little nap.
