Aeonium tabuliforme

When I bought this unusual succulent plant it was a perfect flat disc-like ground hugging rosette.
I have kept it as a houseplant as it comes from the canary islands and probably wouldn't survive in my garden.
Last year it started to look a bit strange and loosing its outer leaves. I thought it was dying so I phoned the nursery and was told it was about to flower, probably?!!
I first blipped this plant on 4th September 2014 if anyone is interested to have a look.
It is looking even more strange, this year!
It is monocarpic so will die once it has flowered, apparently.
I have put the whole plant and pot in extras.
