Made to order

The family have put in their requests for Granny treats for the upcoming holiday when we are all staying in a self-catering cottage in Cornwall.
Today I made these biscuits, called Afghans, for George. Jake has asked for Dumbledore Cake whose proper name, boringly, is date and coconut slice. I have already made a chocolate truffle cake which is one of Normous' favourites. The boys' parents are working very hard on their diets so nothing special for them. We don't usually eat so many sweet things but they are a treat for the holiday.
