Blossoming storm

It's a compulsory May time photo for every camera wielding Edinburghian - cherry blossom at the Meadows, the big park right next door to university, Quartermile development of glass walled houses and the city centre. The clouds were gathering for a downpour so the light was somewhat flat.

Extra photo shows what happens as soon as a ray of sun makes an appearance - if it was warm as well there would hardly be any spaces between people sitting/playing football/walking dogs on the grass.
