Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Drowning cloud

Looking down at the sky.  No mo-jo.  Took the cameras to Show Low when we went shopping . . . came home and put stuff away . . . I nearly forgot I had medications to pick up . . . after that errand I went for a wonder, and a wander,  by Becker lake.  The sky was still cloudy but now at sunset they are dispersed and undramatic.  Add "clouds at wrong altitude" to the list of photographic excuses.

Pleasant surprises waiting for me at the post office:  two new books, Arresting God in Kathmandu  by Samrat Upadhyay; and The Shadow of the Wind  by Carlos Ruiz Zafón; and a late model Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 AIS series E lens.  Fantastic little low profile/pancake.
