Model Shoot at Salton Sea

Salton Sea is about a 3 hour drive from Escondido, CA going North East. It's a huge body of water that was part of a sea village area in the 60's though mid 80's or so. The water turned to salt and killed most of the sea life creating waves of dead fish. They still wash up by the 1000's somehow and you can imagine the smell. This caused the area to go downhill fast and now it's just a small community of people and lots of abandoned and destroyed buildings. Very awesome area for photography though. We were lucky as the wind was strong so the smell didn't bother us. Model in this shot: Alaina Rose Lee.
