Gurdwara Singh Sabha

This new Gurdwara had its official opening last Sunday morning.  With the magnificent golden dome and minarets silhouetted against the blue sky this morning it made a spectacular sight.  

Many years ago the site was part of the Glasgow Eye Infirmary but more recently it was a car park which I used regularly when I was going to the dentist.

This building is now Scotland's largest Sikh temple, and Glasgow's largest religious building.
