Green Edinburgh

Took juno for a walk along the river. Checked out allotment.

Home and got hives ready for the apiary.

Spent 6 hours at hives. Queen cells everywhere.

I checked one and the queen hatched and quickly crawled into hive. Found more queen cells so had to get help.

Back to hives with help to deal with queen cells.Found 3 and checking them one opened and queen crawled out. Quickly isolated her on comb and put in nuc which was queen less.

Have to go back tomorrow as 4 more hives to check and at least one has queen cells forming.

Drove home late and cried to sunshine on Leith from hampden. Well done hibs, being from gorgie that means a lot.
