Strolling

Inspired by the hardy Bullies and their no nonsense attitude to the outdoors, we bought some waterproofs this morning ready for some rainy walks.

We then proceeded to spend the rest of the day very much indoors - in various restaurants and coffee shops in Shrewsbury, having some very lovely spontaneous family time with a gaggle of Moores.

By 5pm we were itching to be out in the rain and so we headed to Lyth Hill. A good 45 minutes in and not a single rain drop in sight. Typical.

Thankfully, the rain eventually arrived and we rejoiced.

Of course, I should have got the African to do a rain dance and we could have saved ourselves a whole lot of time.
