Aix-en-Provence

Another full and wonderful day! And the sun has shone brightly right through it!

We started with a trip into Aix-en-Provence, the coach dropping us off by this magnificent fountain, which became our meeting point at various points through the day. There were wanderings around the old streets, a visit to the cathedral and to various markets, as well as to Cezanne's studio - and that was just the morning!

In the afternoon, we went to the place where Nostradamus lived, Salon-de-Provence. Also, castle visiting, more wandering around old streets, ice cream consuming.......

Back into Aix for our evening meal of moules-frites (mussels and chips), followed by creme brulee . What a great day!
