Location, Location, Location

The Carolina Wrens are nesting again this year in the 'jug' birdhouse. It's an ideal place to nest...under the roof overhang they are protected from the weather, there's a nice view of the dawn at sunrise and they are fairly safe from predators. No wild bird family is ever totally safe however, since I've seen snakes crawl right up the siding on our house to attack a nest box! We can watch the parents feeding the chicks from our breakfast table!
Wishing you all a Peaceful Week! :)
