Four of Seven

I was back to my usual haunt today - Trentham Gardens. It's amazing to see how everything has moved on in a week. The leaves on the trees seem more green and lush. Certain flowers have disappeared wth others making their appearance. And the birds and their young are a week older.

Here's one of two pairs of swans that have successfully bred a family this year. This is only 4 of the seven this swan has produced. The other swan only managed to hatch two and we could only see one today.
