Manchester's newest arts space, HOME, is one year old this weekend. They've had a party that's been going on for three days. I liked this sculpture in their 'The Art of Imitation' exhibition. It looks like a huge ceramic bowl from a distance but it's actually made of old, denim jeans that have been moulded and coated in varnish. When you stand in front of it the shape does interesting things with sound.
