Homeward Bound

Our last day away was spent orienteering at Glen Affric, a glorious area with a good course on a good map. Sadly the weather didn't co-operate and there was haar all the time of the event and no views of the surrounding hills. This remained the case until we got to Slochd summit and then the haar disappeared and the temperature rose from 13 to 23 degrees in a matter of a few kilometres. This is the view of the Cairngorms as we were heading down the A9 near Carrbridge. This was the last day of the ski season and what a cracker it must have been.
