Hungry babies

Nature is in full swing literally right outside my door: this nest of a Northern Cardinal couple is in the shrubs next to the front door. Luckily they didn’t have to ask for food for long, dad swung by with a mouthful of food right away (see extra). I’m in love with this nest, with the chicks and the young parents and have a peek everyday between the branches to see how they are doing!
