North coast (Day 380)

It was another fine morning as I headed up the hill with the dogs. Sigyn, abetted by Talisker, murdered a vole and was remarkably pleased with herself.
I headed for Stromness to change a loo, then to town to get some new tyres on the van. Back home, I fiddled with the strimmer to get it to run a bit better, then tidied up the edges of the lawn. There was a little collateral damage and a couple of plants may never be the same again.
When my beautiful wife came home from her work, we headed for Birsay. The arctic terns are back, and it is lovely to sit in the sunshine and watch them for a while.
We wandered on a little further and I took pictures of the cliffs.
Today has been a good day.
