Wait, what? Polablip is gone? Long live blip!?

OK. Not much of a shot I know, but is this really true? Old blip friends if you're still around, can you fill me in on what the heck has gone on?

I left despairing of the PB situation, but actually have been feeling it's loss of late. So there I am about to give in and sell my Polasoul(TM), I'm downloading the app when I notice the name has reverted to the old one. You know, the good, nice one.

Wikipedia fills in some details, but I need to know more! What gives, blipfriends? And is there any way I can help. I'm a local lad, only too willing to do my (occasional )bit.
