Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition:  the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect (from from Latin iuxta "beside, near" + French position)

Another rain storm this evening followed later by an hour of simply magical light (this photo taken at about 8.30 pm).  This shot a juxtaposition of old and new:  the Moscow City complex (Moscow's answer to Wall Street) rising over the Stalinist era residential buildings on Kutuzovsky Prospect.
