How we see ourselves

By now you will have realised how besotted I can be by the art of children.  It is when they draw freely like in this example that I get really excited.  This is Kingston and Henele and they are both 6.  Henele was our model and he sat on the little cane chair while his classmates tried to sketch him using a black crayon.  I wanted them to fill the page and draw lots of details.  I was impressed with how Kingston had made the arms bend at the elbows.  He also had the knees bent.  
I forgot to check the background and the step ladder is a bit of a distraction.
