History abounds

Today we traveled to Glastonbury to see the ruins of the ancient monastery there. The scenery on the way was extraordinary, with fields of green and yellow, and cows and sheep. My extra is what I would call a scarecrow on the grounds that was lovely. Then on to Wells to the beautiful and well-preserved cathedral there. Our tour guide was a lovely Welsh gentleman with a hilarious sense of humour. Made the day. My blip is the western view of the cathedral.
