Day 145 Height of Bus

Staring idly out of the bus on the way to Winchester this morning I was struck by the sign giving the height of the bus. Why was it out there. Surely it should be in the drivers cab to remind them, not in front of passengers. Maybe passengers are supposed to say 'Stop! Stop! That bridge is too low for this bus'. Maybe one of the passengers should be appointed a Bridge Monitor.

I would hope that the people who designed the routes should check that buses can go under all bridges on the way.

It was an interesting puzzle to while away a morning bus journey. Tomorrow I've permission to take my camera for the day so future photos should be of out and about in Winchester
