Island tour

Today we had booked to go to see the famous 'James Bond Island' where The Man With The Golden Gun was filmed all those years ago.

It has been an incredibly stormy, rainy day but we still went. There was about 32 people in our tour group.

Our first stop was at some bat caves, no not Batman's, these had real bats. We canoed through these caves, it was really cool. We loved it. Then another stop at some more caves and more canoeing.

Finally arrived at James Bond Island, where I took this pic of Martin in front of the bit that's filmed in the movie. We're going to have to go back and watch the movie when we get home.

Back on the boat to another island where we got to swim for a bit in the Andaman Sea. Loved it.

Back to the boat to head back to the pier. We were served lunch, tea/coffee and fruit on board. It's been a lovely day and we've really enjoyed seeing some of the hundreds of outlying islands.

Finished the day off with cocktails at Patong beach where the sunset was lovely (see extra) and a lovely Indian meal, one of the best we've ever had.
