Fairytale Magic in the Val d' Orcia

We thought that our first morning in Tuscany could not be topped but this morning exceeded all our expectations.
From pre dawn until well after sunrise the rolling fog in the valley created scenes from a fairytale as buildings and hilltops were revealed then part hidden all suffused by a golden light from the rising sun. 
It will be difficult to select images from the dozens taken and there was an atmosphere of elation on the way back to the hotel for a well earned breakfast.
