GOING FOR GOLD

The flame was alight but the sun was so bright you can't see it!!

Went up to Crystal Palace to watch the flame as it travelled from Bromley to Croydon. Was a bit sad that I was doing it on my own as everyone was at work or busy....but met up with a family from church and they invited me to join them, which was lovely.
Stood almost opposite the house I was born in and the primary school I went to and just a short walk from Dad.
It all happened so quickly but I'm glad I made the effort to watch a bit of history.
