The Very Fabric

My wee gallery, Cloud 9 - nestled between two large buildings on Irish Street, is currently hosting a mixed media exhibition of my own work. The exhibition is an exercise in propaganda, of the nicest sort! 

Tired of hearing constant complaints about Dumfries and the state of this and of that, I started collecting materials from local charities shops, themselves much maligned by some vocal locals. From those materials I created beautiful things, vases capable of holding flowers and clothed with flowery jumpers themselves and photographs of Dumfries which highlight the good in the bad. 

The exhibition goes on until the end of July.
