Abstract clothes

Iris Van Herpen is a couture fashion designer who was highlighted by an exhibit at our museum.  This is a close-up of her fabric.  She works with highly unusual textures and materials and creates unique and abstract clothes.   The show is closing and this is a final shot.  However we saw some of her creations at the Costume Exhibit at the MET in NYC and I was drawn to the fact that the crowds were gathering around her creations. Fun for me cause I "knew" her.  She  is Dutch and works in the Netherlands.
Think this has leading lines, depth and of course texture.  This is made from hand-burnished metal gauze and was my personal favorite.  Not sure about wearing though!!!  See extra!!!
