Himalayan Blue

By my own request, I was dumped at Dawyck for the afternoon.  There are much worse places to spend an afternoon.  It was an opportunity to play with the macro lens so I took a load of kit.

Dawyck is approaching its best.  The flowers of the the early rhododendrons have gone, others are appearing and the azaleas are coming through.  The snowdrops and daffodils are gone but the bluebells are strong.  The skeletons of trees are now hidden behind soft, fresh leaves and blossom.  It is glorious.

And the Meconopsis are beginning to come through, demanding to be blipped.

I'll go back soon.
