It has been a very disappointing day in many respects, and the rain and thick fog for most of the day meant that our visitors were unable even to see the tops of the taller buildings or cranes until this evening.  Photo opportunities for today’s flower challenge were very limited so my entry  is of one of the carpets at the Georgian House in Edinburgh made in 2013 reproducing a 1797 design.  The muted grey and green colours seemed to reflect the colours of the foggy day.  The pretty bright carpet in the extra was made in 2011 based on a late 18th century design and of a pattern possibly considered by the owner at the time.

Thanks to BikerBear for hosting today's challenge
