Rose-breasted Grosbeak

We again visited the Fort River refuge, a bit earlier in the morning than yesterday.  It was cloudy at first, and very quiet at first.  But as the blue sky gradually unveiled the sun, sightings picked up. This male rose-breasted grosbeak was much the best (his mate was nearby, but never in photo mode--she has totally different plumage, as you see here from a year ago.

Murray vs. Murray at Roland Garros--do look at the extra :)  His opponent (Ivo Karlovic) was also tall, with the same outfit, from white cap to black sneakers.  Amusing and confusing.
