Another YP lily.

Another of the free Yorkshire Post lilies. This one is called "Golden Joy"
It really brightens up the garden on a dull day like today.
(still very warm, but no sun)

Decided to get some outdoor jobs done today.
So to start with cleaned the windows.(First time since we came back from holiday. No point in doing them when it is pouring with rain!)

Then trimmed (Chopped) the fir tree.
We have a wonderful pair of loppers which belonged to my gradfather (who was a head gardener) Will be well over 100 years old now, but although quite heavy, cut thick branches so easily.
We should now have a bit more evening sun on the patio. (when it returns!)

That's another car boot full of garden rubbish to take to the tip tomorrow!
