Egg Lily?

This lily was unfolding on our friends' pond this afternoon when we went across to do a bit of watering before their return from Spain. Tess reckoned it looked like a decapitated boiled egg.

Sophie stayed over for a second night last night so Kate picked her up this morning. Seemed quiet after they left.
