It's "that" time again

It's the first practice session for this year's Isle of Man TT races this evening.

I usually start feeling the first symptoms of my annual bought of TT fever in early May. By the time the first lap times start coming in, I'm in full on obsession mode.

This is a screenshot of the live timing screen, and I'll be pretty much glued to this webpage for the next 2 weeks.
Yes, you are reading that right. Bruce Anstey tripped the speed trap at 169.5mph. That's on his third lap on his 600cc machine. By the time he gets on the 1000cc bike for the senior race in a fortnight's time, expect at least another 20mph on top of that!
