Lakeland Dipper 25

A rather nice varied day with some energy that I don't seem to have had for ages. It culminated in a late swim this evening in Ullswater after doing lots of jobs in the garden, a trip to the tip with the garden waste, into town for replacement windscreen wipers and then a short walk at Dowthwaite Head (extra). Even just off the well beaten path during half term it is still sometimes possible to step back into a truly silent timeless Lakeland valley and find pure magic.
(remarkably this ash is in leaf!)
