Pushing the Trolley

Today dawned fair in Colwyn Bay. I spent the morning at the David Noton 'Chasing the Light' roadshow, at the Antioch Church in collaboration with Cambrian Photography's 70th birthday celebrations. Staff, friends and suppliers who were manning the various stalls congregated outside the shop with black and yellow balloons for the group photo.

Chasing the Light was a global travelogue interspersed with video clips and a considered use of Google Earth to identify the locations. Watching the one of Iceland I could truly say, 'Been there, done that!' Nice photos. The secret is to get up before dawn.

I bought a 3Legged Thing Tripod with discount at Cambrian Photography. It does all the things I want it to do, specifically getting down to ground level for shots of fungi and other creepy crawly things.

Joined Len and Basil in the shopping centre car park and then we drove out to Bodnant Gardens. On the way, Len remarked that it looked suspiciously murky over Snowdonia which could only mean that it was going to rain. Which it did, heavily, just after we'd been turned away because Basil could not be admitted to the gardens.

We just had time for a cup of tea and a piece of carrot cake before the rain set in.

This photo was taken at Tesco in Conwy. Basil and I were sitting under a shelter on the verandah. I was just playing with slower shutter speeds to record feet passing us by while Len was inside the shop.
