Joust

Traquair House is the oldest continually inhabited house in Scotland; dating back to 1107, and originally a hunting lodge for the kings & queens of Scotland, it has been lived in for over 900 years.

Today (and tomorrow) they held their annual Medieval Fayre - combat displays, a medieval market, forge, falconry, ale, minstrels, jester, canon firing, archery and of course jousting, with a baddie to hiss at.
A great day out.
