Acting like a tourist.

The first time Swannie was on a train was the fourteenth of November 1973, it was the day that Princess Anne got married (the first time) and the whole country had a holiday.  Swannie and her wee brother were taken on the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow because they had never been on one before.  Today, she went up to the station at the end of our street and got on a train for the second time in her life.

When the train got to Waverley she had to wait for a bus in Princes Street where she took this shot of the Scott Monument.  The extra is one that she took when in the station.  She had a nice Italian meal at Vittoria's on the Bridge with friends and family, then caught the last train home.  Hope everyone had a lovely Saturday, lots of love, JJ. xx
