Iris hiker

Our iris are now blooming, tempted this morning to take a close-up shot. We had thunderstorms this night and therefore the water droplets. The weather is now perfect for plants, with enough rain, sun and warm temperatures.

We are happy that on our cherry tree not all blossoms were frozen by the late frost some weeks ago. Now the small fruits have changed from green to yellow, being the signal for us to install some traps (yellow, sticky plastic things) in the tree to control the cherry magot, in latin rhagoletis cerasi. That's what we did yesterday afternoon.
