Swinsty Reservoir

Went for a short walk today (I'm not allowed to do long walks yet....) up at Swinsty reservoir. Everything is lush and green at last, and there are some good views over the water from the woods. After such a wet winter, I thought the reservoir would have been full to the brim, but the level is down a little.
We were going to have lunch at the Washburn Visitor Centre, but on the last Sunday of each month they only do tea and coffee.
On such days, the volunteers just up the road at Fewston Parochial Hall step in and do various tasty lunchtime snacks. (today's extra) It's definitely a tea stop with a view.
