Floyen Reflections

Woke to a lovely sunny day in Bergen so decided to go up Mount Floyen on the Funicular and then walk back down.  While we were up there we got some spectacular views over Bergen and also found this lovely little lake.  Plenty to reflect on there.  The walk back down was very pleasant in the sunshine and we were able to wander through some very attractive neighbourhoods where I am sure it must be a great pleasure to live!

This afternoon we have been to a Munch exhibition at the art gallery - some very powerful paintings there - and then onto another museum where we learnt all about the Norwegian Resistance in the second world war.  The museum was only small but they had packed an awful lot into it.

The extras today show me and my new best friend on top of the mountain and then a shot of the centre of Bergen to show you just how busy it is here.  The shot was taken looking across the harbour towards the old wharf area of Bryggen.
