Birthday Treat

Down to Bruntingthorpe today for the Cold War Jets taxi runs for my birthday. 4 years and a day after retiring from the Royal Air Force, it was a pleasure and a privilege to meet up with VC-10 ZD241 whom I'd spent many a happy hour travelling round the world in for a few years. The last time I flew her was in the Falkland Islands in 2007. She is still as majestic as I remember her - I wonder if she remembers me?
