The out laws came this morning for coffees and ginger cake, when they left they dropped me at the station to go into Reading to meet up with Rosie for lunch. I bought my brother his birthday present ready for next weekend. This is Waterstones, a former chapel, it makes a super bookshop, I could have spent longer there. I bought some new jeans too.
I called at our parents; Keith had taken Mum to Waitrose and she had bought some bedding plants so we put them in some big tubs by the back door so it looks inviting to venture outside, and not too far to carry the watering can. We had tea outside.
Home to very reduced mushroom stroganoff from Waitrose, it was delish with rice.
