Lukesland, at Ivybridge

Such a lovely day again today that we went to visit Lukesland garden near Ivybridge. We were too late for the Magnolias, and the Rhododendrons were just beyond their peak, but we were at the right time to see the Handkerchief Tree. The Davidia involucrata. There are three trees there, and the white bracts look just like handkerchiefs fluttering in the breeze. You can see this in one of the extras. The others are of the birds that came to the feeder this morning, and I couldn't resist taking their photos, - the Blue Tit, Blackbird and Robin.
