Loch Glendhu

Today we walked from Loch More over the hills to a remote Bothy on (sea) Loch Glendhu on the West Coast in Sutherland.

Let's just say I'm glad we weren't staying there although we almost did have to take refuge as thunder & lightening started just as we arrived there - thankfully it moved off in the other direction and left us to walk back the 8 miles in the same gorgeous weather we'd walked over in.

The smell of the gorse on the sun was heavenly - my favourite smell.
