Friday: Postcards from the Past

Both of these postcards were sent to my great grandmother in 1913, the top one on 2nd July & the bottom one on 21st August. They both refer to winning a silver cup and a medal at the respective flower shows - seemed timely at the end of Chelsea Flower Show week. I think the gardener who sent them was my great uncle William Sowden - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3549694 - a few years later he went to war.
MrD went to Manchester to get a different motorbike.
