Boat Ride

Today we started the day with a boat ride on Derwentwater Lake, here in the Lake District of England.  We are staying in a very busy town called Keswick-the tourists are out in droves. After having followed a number of blippers from these parts, this was not my expectation. It is very scenic, but where we are is not my cup of tea. It's hard to appreciate the natural beauty. Our hotel has a lovely view of the hills, if you ignore the giant putt-putt and the wire mesh fencing around it. Is it my terrible cold, or is Keswick making me cranky? On to Hadrian's wall tomorrow, and then on to York. We might go see a play tonight at the local theatre. Heard it's an excellent company.
