Doors in Oslo # 88

I'm been waiting for a change to show you this door in Oslo.
It's one of my favourites, but not so often I see.
It belongs to Akershus castle . It's from 1290s and built for King Haakon V I'm not sure of the date to the door.

The fortress and the castle have been besieged many times, by the Swedish army, by Scottish soldiers in service of the Danish king and by the swedes several times after that.

Today it's a museum and the Norwegian Royalty  (King Sigurd I, King Haakon V, Queen Eufemia, King Haakon VII, Queen Maud, King Olav V and Crown Princess Märtha) are buried in the mausoleum.
